Each week we will look at a different collage or mixed media artist and learn about their work as a jumping off point for our own work. This class will cover artists from the 20th and 21st centuries and many contemporary artists working today in collage. Through slides and demonstrations, students will gain new skills and ideas for making their own collage and mixed media work. Open to any skill level and experience with collage, this is a great class for learning new techniques that can easily be done from home with materials and paper you have on hand.
There are two 4-week sections of this class and we’ll cover different artists in each section - sign up for one or both sections.
