An original painted and found paper collage with the middle elements purposefully cut out. This is part of a body of work I made while thinking about all the things I could no longer talk about with my parents. I made these pieces while my dad was on hospice and couldn’t speak anymore and my mom was far away, in her own world made quiet and far away by Alzheimer’s. This piece is 16 × 12 and signed on the front. It’s in a white frame with hanging wire on the back.
